1. Mathematics

Mathematics is a science (or group of related sciences) dealing with the logic of quantity, shape and arrangement. Mathematics is used throughout the world as an essential tool in many fields, including natural science, engineering, medicine, and the social sciences. Every student has to gain optimum knowledge to excel in Mathematics. Besides, most of the entrance tests in our country comprises Maths and Science. Therefore students must be exposed to different types of tests so that they are proficient in the basics for facing any competitive or entrance examinations.

Objective:

  • To create an understanding of aims, values, objectives of mathematical education.
  • Understand the relationship of Mathematics with other subjects, process and product related to it.
  • Develop techniques of speed and accuracy.
  • To create awareness of the contribution of great mathematicians and scientists.
  • To inculcate mathematical temper. To invoke curiosity.
